Avatar India Re-Release Date Set for September 23, Disney Reveals

Avatar is returning to the cinema again in September. As promised, while building buzz for the second Avatar movie in 13 years, Avatar: The Way of Water. On Tuesday, Disney announced that James Cameron’s 2009 sci-fi epic, the biggest film of all time, which grossed $2.847 billion (roughly Rs. 22,753 crores) from various theatrical runs, will be re-released in the US on September 23 in India. Disney unveiled a new poster and trailer for the 4K HDR re-release of Avatar. While the new 90-second Avatar trailer is sadly not available in 4K, it does reveal that Avatar will be available in 3D and “all formats,” given the movie’s old, dated, semi-convincing VFX.
